Answer
Please follow the steps below to gather the GFI MailEssentials SpamTag log files:
- Access the machine where SpamTag is installed on and is in question.

Browse to the following file locations depending on operating system..
- Windows XP: %APPDATA%\GFI\MailEssentials\SpamTag\DebugLogs
- Windows Vista and higher: %LOCALAPPDATA%\GFI\MailEssentials\SpamTag\DebugLogs

Browse to the following file location for the installation log file:
- %temp% and gather the gfioutlookinstall_*.log
- Zip the gathered file as <your GFI case number>.zip

Upload to the GFI FTP Site
- Open Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer)
- In the address bar enter ftp://ftp.gfisoftware.com. You should see a folder with files and folders.
- Right-click in the white space and select Login as...
- Enter the following:
- Username: gfi
- Password: gfi911cust
- After login you should see a blank page
- Copy the zip file and paste it into the page

Send us the name of the file you uploaded

If using an FTP client such as Filezilla or CuteFTP use the following:
- Host: ftp.gfisoftware.com
- User: gfi
- Password: gfi911cust
