Overview
When HTML disclaimers are enabled, calendar appointments do not retain their functions to accept or deny.
Environment
- GFI MailEssentials
- All supported environments
Root Cause
By default, GFI MailEssentials adds the disclaimer to every email because of its legal requirement.
Resolution
- Browse to
..\GFI\MailEssentials\AntiSpam\Data\. - Open the product.config file in a text editor.
- Set the
DisableOLMeetingDisclaimerkey to1:
<add key = "DisableOLMeetingDisclaimer" value = "1"/>
Note: You might need to manually create the key in older versions of MailEssentials. - Restart the GFI MailEssentials services and the Microsoft Exchange Transport Service.
