PROBLEM
When the move to Exchange sub-folder action stops functioning for any particular reason, the emails are suppose to be transferred to the Global Actions folder in the GFI MailEssentials Directory. However, the folder will be still empty.

SOLUTION
This generally happens when the actions of the folder are set to delete. To verify this, please follow the procedure below:

Open GFI MailEssentials configuration

Antispam Settings > Global Actions

Check if the actions are set to delete. If the actions are set to delete, it means that all the emails transferred to this folder were deleted.
Note: By default the setting should be
Move to specified folder and a default directory path should be listed.
CAUSE
The settings were modified so that all items in the Global Actions folder were set to delete.
