Overview

This article provides steps to disable scanning of outbound messages in GFI MailEssentials.

Process

Follow the instructions provided below:

1. Navigate to MailEssentials Configuration > Content Filtering > Attachment Filtering

   1.  Click on the first rule.

   2. Uncheck the option Scan Outbound Messages if the Rule is enabled.

   3. Click Apply.

   4. Repeat Steps A, B, and, C for all the existing Rules.

2. Navigate to EmailSecurity > Virus Scanning Engines > Engine name.

3. Uncheck the option Scan Outbound Messages for each Virus Scanning Engine.
