Overview
After performing an upgrade of GFI MailEssentials, the post-installation wizard displays an error that it could not complete the installation. The e2k7wiz.log log file (located in the ..\GFI\MailEssentials\DebugLogs
directory) indicates:
"error","e2k7wizard","error: EnableAgent exception: The term 'Enable-TransportAgent' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again."

Root Cause
The login user account does not have the necessary permissions to run the PowerShell commands in Microsoft Exchange Management Shell.
Resolution
Ensure that the currently logged-in user account is a member of the Organization Management group in Microsoft Active Directory.
