Overview
Receiving many spam emails coming from specific email addresses. The addresses and the domain are blocked, by being added into the GFI MaillEssentials Email Blocklist, but emails are still received from the addresses.
Solution
Please follow the steps described in the Virus and Spam Emails not Getting Detected by MailEssentials article to perform a cleanup of old files and logs in the MailEssentials folder.
Additionally, since the spammer is using some sort of mass mailing, please alter your IP DNS blocklist for optimal coverage. In MailEssentials go to the IP DNS blocklist. Ensure that bl.spamcop.net
and dul.dnsbl.sorbs.net
are enabled.
