This article aims to clarify if GFI MailEssentials is capable of both sending and receiving emails only with the IPv6 protocol.

Information

As long as the mail server or relay being used is capable of operating on IPv6, MailEssentials will have no issues, as it doesn't take IPv6 as an aggravating factor.

If the environment is set-up to work with IPv6 only, then email processing is enabled, and then MailEssentials is activated, no interference should occur.
