MailEssentials is not blocking obvious spam

Overview

In a multi-server environment, you start getting a large number of spam messages delivered to the users' inboxes. SpamRazr updates are failing on several servers. The Master server is blocking spam messages but the slave servers are not.

The logs show that the AntiSpam Engines are not licensed:

Information

This behavior is consistent with an incorrect license key present in the server's configuration. Please follow the steps described in the "SPAM messages stopped being filtered because an incorrect license key being used" article, for every server that fails to block spam messages, or where updates are failing.

Alternatively, re-installing MailEssentials may resolve the issue.
